Pat is the son of William Riley Janoe and Cecilia Simms of Tennessee. Pat married Mary Bell Hicks, daughter of JM Hicks and Tennessee Jackson in Tennessee about 1904. The family moved to Hugo, Choctaw, Oklahoma about 1918. Pat and several of his brothers made the move together in covered wagons.
Pat and Mary moved to Lubbock County, Texas where Pat became ill.

P.S. Jonoe, local man, died early yesterday morning at the family residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at the residence this afternoon under the direction of Bynum Brothers.
Other than his widow, he is survived by one brother, L.R. Janoe, of Oklahoma.
