ROCK HILL -- Mr. James "Jim" Hugh Brown, 82, formerly of McConnells, died Monday, Sept. 11, 2006, at Agape Rehabilitation. A graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Bethany ARP Church cemetery. A native of York County, Mr. Brown was a son of the late Walter Brown and Carrie Lineburger Brown. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II and was a retired farmer. Surviving is his companion, Mary Warren of Lake Wylie. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. at Thursday at Bratton Funeral Home in York.
