NICHOLAS J., MD, MPH, age 47, of Washington, DC, formerly of South Phila., suddenly April 11, 2006. Loving son of the late Nicholas and Mary (nee Feo). Devoted brother of Anne (James) Williamson of Newtown Square, PA. Dr. Finamore attended St. Joseph's Preparatory School (1977), St. Joseph's University (1981), and earned an MD at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC (1984). He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Christiana Medical Center in Wilmington, DE, where he also served as Chief Resident. After becoming board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Finamore completed a Fellowship in Clinical Nutrition at the University of PA Medical Center in Philadelphia, and then served two years in the U.S. Public Health Service in St. Louis, MO. He practiced medicine in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Philadelphia. Over the last 8 years, he monitored clinical studies in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries at Quintiles, a clinical research organization. His last position was Director, Phase IV Development at MedImmune in Gaithersburg, MD.
