ISAAC GEORGE WOLF
Isaac George Wolf was born in Clay County, Kansas, September 28, 1878, a son of Isaac Ezra and Mary C. Wierman Wolf. Isaac married to Mary Myrtle Baird on September 4, 1901 by John C. Gohun, Probate Judge for Clay County, Clay Center, Kansas. Isaac was 22 years old and from Longford, Kansas and Mary was 20 years old and from Longford, Kansas at that time. Isaac and Mary homestead in Woodward County, Oklahoma soon after their marriage. Their home was in the Garvie Township in Woodward County, Oklahoma. To this union were born three daughters, Letha Pearl, Bessie May and Lulu Mary.
Isaac, Mary, and his three daughters lived on the homestead until his death.
Isaac is survived by his wife and daughters, four brothers - Nodd Wolf and John Wolf of Quinlan, Oklahoma, Fred Wolf of Waynoka, Oklahoma, Clarence Wolf of Colorado, two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Baker of Minneapolis, Kansas, and Mrs. Annie Allgire of Longford, Kansas. Isaac's father, mother, one brother and one sister have preceded him in death.
Isaac Wolf was converted in early life, but was reclaimed shortly before his death. The Lord wonderfully blessed him and gave him that sweet peace that surpasseth all understanding.
Isaac departed this life June 11, 1923, at the age of 44 years, 8 months, 12 days.
Isaac leaves other relatives and a host of friends to mourn the loss.
Funeral services were held at the Mayfield School House at 11 o'clock by Brother Will Garvie. The remains were laid to rest in the Mooreland Cemtery on June 12.
