LETHA PEARL SCHLARB - CHESTER
Funeral services for Letha Pearl Schlarb, 72, Chester, Oklahoma, who died Tuesday in a Waynoka Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Redinger Funeral Chapel in Seiling, Oklahoma with Rev. J. C. Hickman officiating. Burial will be at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Dacoma, Oklahoma under the direction of Redinger Funeral Home.
Letha Pearl was born June 22, 1902 near Quinlan, Woodward County, Oklahoma, the oldest daughter of Isaac George and Mary Myrtle Baird Wolf.
Letha was married to Charley Tilford Schlarb on April 4, 1921 by L. T. Wilson, Judge of Woods County Court in Alva, Oklahoma in the presence of D. B. Campbell of Alva, Oklahoma and Frank Howerton of Alva. Letha and Charley had eight children, five daughters and three sons. Letha and Charley lived near Chester, Oklahoma for the past 43 years.
Survivors are five daughters, Annamae Springer, of Aline, Oklahoma, Tillie Pear Hood, of Pueblo, Colorado, Billie Ellen Pendergraft, of Chester, Oklahoma, Lorene Hand, of Chanute, Kansas, and Mary Lou Wheatley, of Kelso, Washington; three sons, Charles Stanley, of Longview, Washington, Glenn Alfred, of Alva, Oklahoma, and Jimmie Dean, of Chester, Oklahoma; one sister Lulu Mary Patterson, of Enid, Oklahoma: 30 grandchildren and 29 great great grandchildren.
