Elizabeth "Liz" Williams Dubberly, 76, of Jesup, Georgia died Monday, January 18, 2016 in Wayne Memorial Hospital and under the care of Hospice of South Georgia. The Toombs County, Georgia native was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. She was a retired Business Education Teacher with the Wayne County School System and former Teacher at Waycross/Ware Tech Vocational School, member and past President of the Ruby Riggins Camelia Garden Club, volunteer with the Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, active in the Cub Scouts of Wayne County and numerous civic activities. She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Lendon Dubberly; son, Jonathan Dubberly; parents, Haywood and Emma Dykes Williams; brother, Don Williams; daughter-in-law, Mandi Kicklighter Dubberly;

Survivors are her sons, Jerry (Dee Dee) Dubberly of Alpharetta, Neil (fiancé, Leslie Wasdin Ogden) Dubberly of Jesup, Kerby (Pam) Dubberly of Statesboro; grandchildren, Trent Dubberly of Gainesville, Jasper Dubberly and Kenly Ogden, both of Jesup, Lauren and Colby Dubberly, both of Statesboro, Mackenzie Dubberly of Alpharetta and Jody Carter of Brunswick.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Vann Dempsey officiating. Interment will be in Ritch Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Melvin Boyette, Eric Mallard, Teddy Brinkley, Tommy Hutcheson, Doug Stephens and Gary Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Joy Sunday School Class of Calvary Baptist Church, Staff and friends at the Davita Dialysis Center.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of South Georgia 1625 Sunset Blvd., Jesup, GA 31545.
