Ruby Peters, age 88, passed away October 12, 2006 in Seguin, Texas. She was born in Taylor, Texas on October 8, 1918 to William Edgar “Ed” Alford and Viola M. Moegle.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Peters, in 1961 and by her only child, Sandra Osland, in September 2005 and sister, Suzy Alford Budnick in 2001.
Ruby is survived by one grandson; Bradley Osland; nieces, Sharon Budnick Tate and husband, Lynn, Janet Budnick Brown and husband, Michael, and nephew, Russell Budnick and wife, Kathleen.
There will be a graveside service held at Austin Memorial Cemetery in Austin, Texas on October 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Center for Child Protection, 1110 East 32nd Street, Austin, Texas 78722.
