Johnny Hugh Tyrone, 83, of Laurel died Saturday January 16, 2016 at his residence. He was a member of the Church of Christ and retired from after 43 years with Tri-State/Baker. He served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Sue Kellum Tyrone of Laurel, son Jimmy Tyrone and wife Ellen Myrick Tyrone, 2 daughters Lisa Tyrone White and husband Hugh White and Kelly Tyrone Key and husband Tommy Key. Sister Dimple Tyrone Dunnaway, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 11:00AM at Lake Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday at 9:30AM at Memory Chapel. Rev. Arnold Kelley will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jerry Crosby, Ronald Tate, Mel Adams, Wayne Jefcoat, Danny Harrell and Buddy Anderson. In lieu of flowers family ask donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
