Nancy Agnes Crabtree Patterson was born on April 15, 1825 in Oldtown, Maryland. Nancy married John Patterson on June 22, 1841 in Allegany County, Maryland. John and Nancy had two children, Mary Elizabeth and Sarah A. Esther. It isn't known if John was killed or died, but Nancy married Hugh Patterson before 1849. Hugh was probably of brother of John. Hugh and Nancy had eight children, one daughter and seven sons. Hugh and Nancy lived in New Bridgeville, York County, Pennsylvania. Benjaman Franklin born in March 1, 1857 York County, Pennsylvania and died in York County, Pennsylvania. Hugh died in August-1869 in New Bridgeville, York County, Pennsylvania. Nancy and her children went to Warren County, Illinois. Several of Nancy's children were married in Illinois. Between the years of 1886 and 1890, Nancy and some of her children moved to Bayard, Guthrie County, Iowa. Some of Nancy's boys were married in Iowa after 1890. Nancy's oldest daughter, Mary married and stayed in Illinois. Sarah married and moved to Missouri. Elizabeth married in Warren County, Illinois. John F. married in Bayard, Guthrie County, Iowa and stayed in Iowa. Hugh C. married in Warren County, Illinois, but moved to Iowa and than to Oklahoma. Robert married in Henderson County, Illinois, bit moved to Iowa and stayed there. David H. was found in Indiana on U. S. Census. William was married in Illinois, but stayed in Iowa. Samuel was married in Iowa, but went to Colorado. Nancy died on August 19, 1893 at Bayard, Guthrie County, Iowa and is buried at the Dodge Center Cemetery, Guthrie County, Bagley, Iowa.
