Gary D. "Polack" Kulaszewski
Gary D. "Polack" Kulaszewski, a retired bartender at Big Daddy's Restaurant at 2513 Royal St., died May 5 of undetermined causes in Flint, Mich. He was 55. Mr. Kulaszewski was born in Flint and lived in New Orleans for many years. He was a graduate of Beecher High School in Flint and was an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his mother, Eleanor Kulaszewski; a brother, Jeffrey Kulaszewski; and a sister, Maryann Tarrant. A funeral was held Friday at All Saints Catholic Church in Flint. Burial was in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flint. A memorial service will be held later in New Orleans. Martin Funeral Home in Flint handled the arrangements.
