My PaPa was more like a Daddy to me and my brother Nate then a grandfather. He was preceded in death by both parents Frank T. Cooke and Hilda Weston-Cooke and a his 3rd daughter Nancy Lou Cooke ] (1953-1954) and a beloved son-in-law Patrick Arthur Willey (1959-1997).
PaPa was served in the USNavy in WWII. And used to tell us wonderful stories of his travels.
We spent summers up-north on Papa's farm in Hale, MI. He showed my children the beauty of nature and admire the wilderness.
Papa was a great outdoorsman and loved to hunt, hike, swim and fish.
Papa died t his home in Fort Gratiot surrounded with loving fmaily members. He struggled and fought tirelessly and died of prostate cancer.
Forever in our hearts...Words can not explain!
