Oakmont
Connie M. Glover Capal, of Oakmont, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006, at Forbes Hospice, Pittsburgh.
She was born Nov. 7, 1932, in Oakmont, to the late Felix and Joan Jacina Gigliotti.
Mrs. Capal was a member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Oakmont. Connie volunteered at St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh. She enjoyed her family, crocheting, and her cats, Cincy, Kitty and Lucy.
She was the wife of Melvin M. Capal; beloved mother of Beverly (Ronald) Galore of Cheswick, Patsy Glover of Plum, Dan Glover of Oakmont, and Larry (Sally) Glover of Lima, Ohio; sister of Jane Alberti of Oakmont, Kay Meta of Coraopolis, Mary Chirillo of Penn Hills, and Pat (Mary) Gigliotti of Verona. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Patsy Glover.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME, Oakmont. Christian funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Irenaeus Church, Oakmont, by Father Frank Kurimsky.
Interment will follow in Deer Creek Cemetery, HarmarTownship.
