From the age of fourteen passion for heraldry, as a teenager, he published the first column on this subject, which appeared in the weekly magazine "Panorama". Enthusiasm for heraldry was infectious and he gave of his time generously while promoting the art and science of heraldry. Started the idea of International Heraldry Day in 2008, came to fruition in 2013
Studying at the University of Warsaw 1974-1978 graduated with a thesis on the history of books under the direction of Asst. Dr. Barbara Bieńkowskiej.
1978-1985 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, graduated 1985 in the restoration of old engravings and graphic works section.
