Mr. Morgan succumbed at his home southeast of Clyde, less than 12 hours after he was stricken with paralysis, as he worked at his barns this morning. In apparently sound health, Mr. Morgan complained of illness this morning, and a little later was stricken. He lapsed into unconscousness at noon, and death occurred at 6 p.m.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete tonight, pending word from relatives in Hunt County. The service probably will be held from the Baptist Church here Wednesday afternoon.
