SERVICES SET HERE FOR E.G. GRANT
Elbert George Grant, age 28, was pronounced dead on arrival at Wagoner Hospital Wednesday afternoon, June 26, 1963, of a heat stroke suffered while hauling hay. He was a farmer and laborer, living at Route One in Wagoner, where he had lived all his life.
Services will be at 2pm Sunday in the Hersman Funeral Home Chapel.
Survivors are two sons, Charles and Delbert G. Grant; three daughters, Relda Kay, Rebecca Louise and Lasondra Crunte Grant, all 5 of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Grant, Sr. of Wagoner, Oklahoma; two brothers, Augustus Grant of Russellville, Arkansas and John Henry Grant, Jr. of Bakersfield, California; two sisters, Mrs. Connie Jackson and Miss Anna Grant, both of Wagoner.
Burial will be in Sandtown Cemetery under the direction of Hersman Funeral Home in Wagoner.
