Husband of Susan, and father of George W. Jodry.

Obituary - George F. Jodry, aged ninety-eight, died at the Suffolk County Almshouse a few days ago. He was a native of France and a veteran of the Grand Army of France. He was with Napoleon in his retreat from Moscow, and at the battle of Waterloo. He had been an inmate of the Poorhouse for several years chargeable to the town of Smithtown.

Also - Two aged men both registered as from Southampton died at the Almshouse last week. One of the dead was William Johnson, colored, aged 91 years. He had been in the Almshouse two years and died of old age. The other was George Jodry, a Frenchman, 93 years of age and 57 years in this country. He too died of old age. Jodry was a native of France and a veteran of the Grand Army of France. He was with Napoleon in his retreat from Moscow, and at the battle of Waterloo.

Also - County Almshouse, July 30, George F. Jodry, a veteran of the French Grand Army, and a survivor of the battle of Waterloo, late of Smithtown, ae 96. Interment at New Village.
