Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2006 from the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James Rich, Rev. Chuck Westbrook and Rev. Greg Long officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church cemetery.
Mrs. Champion was a retired Nurses aide and a member of Bethesda Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, James "Buddy" Edmondson of Ball Ground and Gary Champion of Talking Rock; brothers, J L Byess of Jasper, Donas Byess of Ball Ground and Bill Byess of Canton; sisters, Sally Mae Duncan of Woodstock and Genell Nix of Mableton; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren also survive.
