The "Paint the Gym Purple" candlelight vigil for Payton will be held at the gym of the Riverview Early Childhood Center in Webster City at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Payton Henry, 6, of Webster City, died Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Pastor Jeff Flagg officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 1, 2016 at the funeral home.
Payton Jayde Henry, the daughter of Justin Henry and Brooke Ford was born on November 16, 2009 in Webster City. She was in kindergarten at Pleasantview Elementary.
Payton is survived by her parents; sister, Hayley; brother, Rowyn; grandparents and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Ray and June Holmes and Minnie Henry.
Payton enjoyed going to school and spending time with her friends and teachers. She liked the movie Frozen, playing with My Little Ponies and reading books. Most of all she liked being with her brother, sister and her friends at Riverview Day Care.
