John "Jerry" Hannah, 65, of Rattan passed away Sunday, August 27, 2006 at Tulsa, OK. He was born March 13, 1941 at Pickens to John and Jewell Hannah.

Jerry married his wife Charlotte on June 8, 1962 and together they owned and operated several successful businesses, the latest being Hannah's Bent Tree Cabins
located on Little River at Cloudy, he was very proud of this accomplishment. He was a very good cook his specialty being homemade biscuits and brisket. Jerry loved spending time with his family and friends at cookouts. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and was a lifetime resident of this area.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Charlotte of the home; daughters, Barbara Bathe of Michigan, Terri Wallace and husband, Stephen of Virginia, and Kelly Hannah of Sherman,
TX; a son, Marty VanHoose of Pickens; a sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Gerald Glover of Pickens; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren;, several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the County Line Cemetery, Pickens, with Bro. Perry Martin and Bro. Larry Morris officiating.
