Mary Eleanor Ours, 71, of Buckhannon, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, in Regency Hospital in Florence, S.C.

She was born March 7, 1936, at Grantsville, a daughter of the late George Linn Strader and Sara Olive Howes Strader.

On July 26, 1954, she was married to William Ours, who preceded her in death Jan. 27, 2007.

Surviving are one son, William George Ours of Santa Clarita, Calif.; one daughter, Kathryn Lynn Ours of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; one sister, Elizabeth Rose Strader of Indiantown, Fla.; and one brother, George Neal Strader of Huntington.

Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Norma Lee Strader Stemple and Mildred Lynn Strader Graham; and one brother, James Lowell Strader.

She was a housewife.

Friends will be received from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, at the funeral home with the Rev. Billie Scott Mick officiating. Interment will follow in Heavner Cemetery at Buckhannon. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
