Her mother was still in Bayaria as of Sep 1920 when Fanny & Charles "Carl" POWELL
sought passports to travel to Amsterdam via the SS Amsterdam and on to her mother in Bavaria.
In 1920 Franziska & "Carl" Powell sold their hotel/restaurant in St Clair, Blue Earth, Minnesota
in preparation for the trip. Before setting out, they travelled NW to New Ulm, Brown County, Minnesota to visit her aunt (Rosa ?) & uncle "John"/Johan Baptist Wurm. From there they headed to Chicago and on to New York to board the ship.
If this is the same couple, then they eventually returned and may have settled in Webster City or Dexter Iowa.
