Prayer service for Gilberto P. Fuentez was held Tuesday in the Benson Memorial Chapel. Funeral services were held today in the Benson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tomas Alvarado officiating. Burial was in the El Reno Cemetery under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Mr. Fuentez died Saturday at Integris Canadian Valley Regional Hospital. He was born Aug. 15, 1939, in San Angelo, Texas. He lived in El Reno for 26 years. He was a finish carpenter and also worked for Canadian County District 1. He was a member of the Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie Bosquez Fuentez; sons, Julian Fuentez, Juanito Fuentez and Steven Fuentez, all of El Reno, Jerry Fuentez of McAlester, Sonny Fuentez of Moore and Larry Fuentez of Texas; daughters, Angel Anaya and Juanita Montoya, both of El Reno; brothers, Joe Fuentez of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Benardo Fuentez of Kileen, Texas; a sister, Florence Mendez of San Antonio, Texas; and 15 grandchildren.
