Ben F. Sprouse, of Chillicothe, Missouri, formerly of Braymer Missouri, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Livingston Manor in Chillicothe, Missouri.

Ben lived honorably for 91 years, 2 months, and 15 days.

He was born in Breckenridge, Missouri, September 14, 1924, to Andrew and Mabel (Hall) Sprouse. Ben was raised on a farm in Braymer, Missouri, where he later made a living as a farmer, and then as a truck driver for a lumber company.

In 1945, he enlisted in the United States Army and served at Camp Robinson in Arkansas. Ben was a Duty Soldier during World War II and earned a World War II Victory Medal, and an Army of Occupation Medal.

Ben never married, nor had children. He is predeceased by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.

On Tuesday, December 8, the Patriot Guard motorcycle riders will serve as escorts from Foster Funeral Chapels in Carrollton, Missouri, to Leavenworth National Cemetery, in Leavenworth, Kansas.

The Patriot Guard Riders will depart Foster Funeral Chapel at 12:00 p.m. Burial with full Military Honors in Leavenworth is at 2:30 p.m.
