Henry Smith, age 73 of Peebles, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at his residence.

He was born in Adams County on January 27, 1942, the son of the late Ollie and Nola (Curtis) Smith.

He is survived by his wife Carol (Warnock) Smith of Peebles; sons, Tim Smith of Wilmington, David and Beth Smith of Peebles; brother, Franklin Smith of Blanchester; sisters, Jane McCallister of Rarden, Bonnie (Bernard) Brown of Peebles; Grandchildren, Caramon, Tucker, Emma, and Teagan.

Henry attended Rarden Baptist Church and was a member of the American Legion and Veteran of Foreign Wars.

Visitation has been scheduled for Thursday, November 19, 2015, from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles. Funeral services are scheduled for the following day November 20, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery with military graveside service by Adams County Honor Guard.
