She passed away in the presence of her loving family on Thursday, September 10, 2015 in Malakoff, Texas after a 9-1/2 year battle with cancer.
Diana Joy Williams Allen was born June 6, 1955 in Athens, Texas the daughter of Garvin and Velda Hill Williams. She was a stray dog and cat magnet who enjoyed saving animals. She volunteered as a medical tech at the Disciples Clinic in Athens, Texas since its inception. Diana was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt and will be greatly missed by all she knew.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Diana is survived by her loving husband Larry Allen; one daughter, Michelle Allen-Parasiliti and husband Ross of Plano; one son, David Allen of Winchester, Virginia; two brothers, Jesse Williams and wife Sandy of Whitehouse, Glen Williams and wife Phyllis of Tool; one sister Jeannie Pierce and husband David of Brownsboro; special nieces and nephew, Trista Gartmen, Britney Pierce and Justin Johnson; and great nephew and nieces, Madison Andrews, Aiden Johnson and Cora Ruth Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Vernon Nash, Tom Craig, Wilson Williams, Larry Johnson, Dr. Gary Williamson, and Marcus Jordan.
