SANTA FE - Mr. Braxton Marcellaous “Brack” Williams, Sr. passed from this life Tuesday evening, November 10, 2015, in Texas City.
Born May 15, 1932 in Olney, TX, Mr. Williams had been a resident of Santa Fe since 1971, previously of Pawhuska, OK. He worked as a shift superintendent for Amoco retiring after 25 years. Brack was a charter member of the FOE Aerie #3789 and loved fishing, playing darts and gambling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff Braxton and Mary Fern (Browning) Williams; brothers, Joe and Billy Earl Williams; sisters, Daisy Weaver and Betty Chamblin.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Kay Williams; sons, Braxton Williams, Jr. and wife, Micki, Ronnie Williams and wife, Reisa all of Pawhuska, OK, Tony Williams and wife, Terri of Santa Fe, TX; daughters, Debora Pradmore and husband, Jack of Pawhuska, OK, Lola Cramer and husband, Donald of Winfield, TX; brother, Glen Williams and wife, Ellen of Denton, TX; sisters, Katheryn Masters, Linda Williams both of Wichita Falls, TX, Mary Dell Owensby of Lawton, OK, LaFern Williams, Alta Evans and husband, Johnny all of FL; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, with Mr. Russell McLaughlin officiating.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
