"On June 18, 1932, Erwin married Louise C. Beneker in Seattle. The 1940 US Census shows Erwin and Louise living in Seattle. Erwin had attended college for 4 years and owned a Real Estate business. During World War II, Erwin served in the US Army, obtaining the rank of Captain.
