On Tuesday November 10, 2015 Harold Glen Fields, age 80, left this world of pain to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Glen was born on April 9, 1935 to S.C. and Homa Fields of Idabel, OK.

He was raised in Idabel where he played football and basketball for the Warriors team. He was a member of the National Guard and attended college at SOSU in Durant, OK. He was a firefighter in Mesquite, TX for fifteen years and eight years in Idabel. He and his wife also had an upholstery shop in Idabel during that time. He met his wife of 53 years, Barbara Ann Shearin in 1962 and were married on June 23, 1962 and remained married until he went home on Tuesday. In 1972 they returned to Idabel, OK to raise their two sons, Jerry Glen and Bobby Joe Fields. In 2004 they moved to Greenville, TX to be with their sons.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Barbara Ann Fields; two sons, Jerry Fields and Bobby Fields and wife Kim; four grandchildren, Chris, Cody, Kimberly and Richey; two sisters, Sharon and husband Shorty McKeever and Neva Cockerham; one brother Clifton Dale Fields and wife Louise; also several other nieces and nephews. We will all miss him very much but we know he is in a better place.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Norwood-Nation Chapel in Idabel, OK. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
