Born June 3, 1932 in Wrightsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph S. and Pauline (Tome) Stevens.
Peg was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Abel Poff Leithiser American Legion Post 469 in Wrightsville.
Peg is survived by three sons, Kenneth J. Abel and his wife Stephanie of Wrightsville, Jeffrey E. Abel of Punxsutawney and Bradley M. Abel of Columbia, PA, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two brothers, William A. Stevens of Wrightsville and Donald E. Stevens of Ironville, PA.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Wrightsville Hope (aka: Locust Street) United Methodist Church, 314 Locust Street, Wrightsville, PA. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service.
