Mary was born to Elizabeth Davidson and William Piggot "Peck" Patterson in Greene County, Illinois. She married Frank Batty. She was a wonderful homemaker, helper, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by two children. She leaves behind her husband, four children, and many grandchildren to mourn her.
She is the great grandaughter of John Patterson II (a veteran of the American Revolution).
