A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 1998, in Pegg, Paxson & Springer Chapel for Caroline Houck Jordan, who died Jan. 2 at age 74.
Mrs. Jordan was born Jan. 27, 1923, in Battle Creek, Mich. Her maiden name was Houck. She married Laurence in 1944; he died in 1991. She moved to Charlotte, N.C., and was personnel director of Soabar Products, retiring in 1978. She moved to Portland in 1984.
Survivors include twin sons, Laurence S. and David P., both of Portland.
Private interment will be in Oak Hills Cemetery in Battle Creek, Mich. The family suggests remembrances to a favorite charity.
