Albert Lee Reid Jr., 57, of Springfield died on October 2, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Albert was born on January 1, 1958 in Springfield the son of Albert Lee and Sharon Yeaman Reid Sr. He married Kathryn Lynn Shymansky in Springfield. He worked as a drywaller for several companies. He enjoyed lifting weights, fishing and being around his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Erica Reid; one sister, Sandra Reid; and one brother, Joe Reid. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn of Springfield; four children, John (Kasie) Reid, Nick Reid, Jolynn Tomlin and Lee Reid all of Springfield; siblings, Pamela (Paul) Noga, Chris (Lisa) Reid, Brenda Reid, Terry Reid, Jake Reid, Angie (Scott) French, Luke Reid, and Shane (Barbie) Reid; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Roanoke Southern Baptist Church 2355 N. 2nd St., Springfield, IL 62702 Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Albert Lee Reid Jr., c/o Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home.
