Barbara L. Lewis, age 73 of Odessa, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at Alliance Hospital in Odessa. She had been a resident of Odessa for the last 14 years.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2006 at Frank Wilson's Chapel with Rev. Griffin Jones of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Barbara was born on October 16, 1932 in Knoxville, TN to Eulas and Mildred (Henderlite) Lowery. She loved gardening and was an avid football fan. Her favorite team was the Pittsburg Steelers.
Her parents and a brother, James Lowery preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son Terry Louvin and his wife Darla of Odessa; brothers, Fred Lowery of Odessa and Kenneth Lowery of Tucson, AZ; (2) grandchildren and (1) great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Eric Louvin, Christopher Howell, Kriston Crow, Chris Holleman, Christopher Holleman and Ryan Holleman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Aaron Louvin and Glen Dorris.
