Barbara Louise Murray (Campbell), was known as Bobbie Lou. Born in Dallas,Texas on January 27, 1929. Parents, Antonia Demaris Scott (Murray) (Collins) [Big Toni] and James Linuel Murray.

After her parents divorced in 1934, she lived with her mother and the Scott family in Miami, Florida. She attended Miami schools, graduating from Miami Senior High School. She attended the University of Miami for three years, where she met the love of her life, Alexander Carr (Whitey) Campbell.

She married Alexander Carr (Whitey) Campbell in 1948. They had four daughters: Constance Jo (Connie), Sandra Louise (Sandie), Kimberlie (Kim) and Alexis Carr (Lexie). They divorced in 1961.

After the divorce Bobbie Lou was never the same. She worked hard to provide for the four girls. Her and the girls lived one block from her mother. The girls would stay with "Mawmaw" whenever Bobbie Lou had to work at night.

She loved people. And was most happy having parties at her house with family and friends. There was always wonderful company and good food.

As of today, she has six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She died from cancer on January 3, 1987 at the age of 57.
