He was married in Kent County, Michigan, April 9, 1859, to Sarah A. Alldrich, eldest daughter of Peter and Louisa (Ford) Alldrich, natives respectively of Canada and New York. They had seven children, Emma E. Parrott, Charles E. Parrott, Lewis E. Parrott, Julius Parrott, Alma Lida Parrott, Vernon L. Parrott, and Myrtle M. Parrott. Julius died when two years old.
Politically Mr. Parrott is a Republican.
