She married in Kent County, Michigan, April 9, 1859, to Jacob Parrott son of Charles and Elizabeth Parrott (French immigrants).
Jacob was a farmer in Lowell for 20 years, and in the summer of 1871 the family came to Mecosta county and bought 80 acres of land in Section 12 in the township of Millbrook.
They had seven children, Emma E. Parrott, Charles E. Parrott, Lewis E. Parrott, Julius Parrott, Alma Lida Parrott, Vernon L. Parrott, and Myrtle M. Parrott. Julius died when two years old.
Politically Mr. Parrott is a Republican.

Mrs. Sarah A. Aldrich, 92, was buried from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alma Sanders, one-half mile north of Blanchard. She had lived in that community 62 years. She leaves two sons, Charles E. in Oregon and Lewis E. of Hoquiam, Wash; three daughters, Emma E. of Port Angeles, Was., Myrtle M. of Phoenix, Ariz., and Alma L. of Blanchard; one sister, Mrs. Charles A. Wilson of Santa Monica, Calif.: fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren Burial in Decker cemetery.
