Anna M. Acuff, 65, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. She was born March 30, 1941, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Loyd Brummett and Florence Hogan Thompson, who preceded her in death.

She also was preceded in death by a brother, Victor Thomas Brummett and a sister, Barbara Ray. On May 6, 1960, she married Bob Acuff. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Bob, of the home; two sons, Tony Acuff, of Largo, Fla.; Chris Acuff and his wife, Kim, of Lebanon; a daughter, Coral Sode and her husband, John, of Lebanon; a brother, John Henry Thompson, of Alton, Ill; five grandchildren, Courtney Acuff, Harley Acuff, Makanda, Rainier and John Robert Sode; also other relatives.

Services for Anna M. Acuff will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Richard Ogden and Marsha Vincent officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of Thieme-Shadel Funeral Service at Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
