Jerry was the son of Buster Harvey Miller and Hazel Marie (Meyer) Seymour and was raised by his mother and step-father, E. L. "Buck" Seymour. He married Jessie Maureen Spangler on June 6, 1962, in Depew, Oklahoma. He retired from Miller Trucking Company and was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. His parents; stepfather; and sister, Barbara Ann (Miller) McFarlin, preceded Jerry in death.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Jessie Miller of the home; daughters, Kristal Montgomery of Stroud, Tanya Montgomery and Dana Ray of Depew; brother, Billy Ray Montgomery of Depew; sister, Judy Irene Murfin of Stroud; grandchildren, Johnna Ralston and Randy of Kellyville, Brandi Montgomery of Stroud, Shane Montgomery and Shaila of Depew, Danny Montgomery of Bristow, Pat Montgomery of Depew; and 4 great-grandchildren.
