RENWICK DEE "REN" POPE, 49, died Nov. 3, 1995, in Colorado Springs. He was a housing administrator for Senior Citizens Villas, Santa Maria and San Jose.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's United Methodist, 2111 Carlton Ave., with the Revs. Kirk Fowler and Frank McCall officiating. Cremation is planned.
Mr. Pope was born April 12, 1946, in Long Beach, Calif., to Robert and Eleanor (Rankin) Pope, who live in Denver. He had moved to Colorado Springs in 1991 after living in Tulsa, Okla., for 21 years. He graduated from East High School in Denver in 1964, and from Phillips University in Enid, Okla., in 1968. He also attended the University of Chicago Theological Seminary for two years and received a master's degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix in 1994.
He enjoyed photography, cross-country skiing, hiking, camping and was an avid Denver Bronco fan for 35 years.
He played oboe for the Enid Symphony Orchestra and was a member of Christian Church-Disciples of Christ.
He is also survived by a sister, Susan of Honolulu, Hawaii; and a brother, Michael of Grants, N.M. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roger, in 1966.

COLORADO SPRINGS - A man run over by a train yesterday morning apparently committed suicide.
