Selena Brown, 6 months, died Friday, March 4, 2005 at the LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA, as the result of an automobile-train accident. She was born in Crossett.
She is survived by her father, Kenny Brown of Monticello; a brother, Trajan "Trey" Brown; her maternal grandparents, Debbie Cole Brown of Crossett and Michael Jarrells of Brazoria, TX; her paternal grandparents, Rosie Brown of Wilmot and Michael Jackson of Shreveport, LA; and her great-grandparents, Robert "Buster" and Martha Cole of Crossett and Ed Jarrells of Sweeney, TX. She is preceded in death by her mother, Brandy Jarrells.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, in the chapel of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Gannaway officiating. Burial will be in the Old Crossett Cemetery. Pallbearers are to be Terry Lancaster, Tim Smith, Charlie Keen, Daniel Shelton, Jacob Smith, Curtis Hollins, Golden Lancaster and Aundra Brown. Honorary pallbearers are to be Jeffrey Taylor, Shamar Brown, Wade Vail, Derrick Vail and Bill Murray, Jr.
