Lebanon, NH - Helen A. Hanchett, passed away October 4, 2015.

Helen was born in Hanover, NH on February 26, 1920, the daughter of Charles F.R. and Ruby M. (Pressey) Stone. She married her soulmate, Errold "Buster" Hanchett on June 7, 1941.

She worked for John Kemeny in the Mathematics Department at Dartmouth College until 1981 when she retired.

In earlier years, she loved snowmobiling and camping, watching hockey and other sports. She enjoyed spending time at her camp on Goose Pond swimming and keeping an eye on all that was going on. She was an avid reader and loved to do many different crafts.

Helen was predeceased by her husband, Buster, in 2007, along with all five of her brothers Friend, Dennis, John, Raymond and Charles Jr.

She is survived by her three daughters Pam Laro and husband Reg of West Lebanon, Fran Hanchett of Lebanon and Noreen Lessard and husband Rick of The Villages, FL.

She has five grandchildren Lisa Wentworth and husband Doug, David Dupuis and wife Dawn, Jason Laro, Lance Lessard, Aaron Lessard and wife Jennifer.

She was also blessed to have 6 great-grandchildren Mikala & Jordan Wentworth, Ethan Dupuis, Alexis, Marley & Lucas Lessard.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, October 9, 2015 at 1 pm in the Highland Cemetery in Lyme, NH. A celebration of Helen's life will immediately follow at the Lebanon Elks at 2pm.
