Joseph LeGrand Higginson, 74, passed away October 1, 2015, at his home in Payson, Utah. He was born July 14, 1941, in Payson to LeGrande J. and Melva Kay Higginson. He married Connie Jean Brinkerhoff August 2, 1969, in Reno, Nevada. Connie passed away February 4, 2008.

Joseph work for 30 years at May Foundry retiring as General Manager. His hobbies include gardening and mechanics. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by a daughter, Laurie (Salvatore) Butera, and their children, Samantha, Gabriella and Tanner; a son, Joseph Todd (Vicky) Higginson, and their children, Christian, Alyssa, Angel, and grandchildren, Angel and Selina; a step-son, Craig Perkins and his children; also his siblings, Joan Stewart (Donald — deceased); Mary Wing (Brice — deceased), Colleen Patten (Gaylord), Kay Higginson, Dean Higginson (Jayne Ann), Artis Callaway (Walter — deceased), Dennis Higginson (Claudia — deceased), Jill Carter (Lynn); and several nieces and nephews who he was close to. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a brother, Lynn Jay Higginson and a daughter, Debra Dean Higginson.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 6th at 11:00 am at the Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial, Santaquin City Cemetery.
