GEORGE WORLEY
TOLEDO – George Worley, 74, of Toledo died at 8:30 p.m. Friday (July 6, 1979) in his home.
The funeral was held at 2:30 p.m. today in the Toledo Christian Church. Burial was in Toledo Cemetery. The Barkley Funeral Home, Toledo, was in charge.
He was born in Cumberland County, a son of John and Matilda Hummel Worley. He married Gladys Williams, who preceded him in death. He later married Winnie Dallas, who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Daffol Weaver of Jasper, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Janice Knupp of New Lenox and Hollys Glasscock of Bloomington, Ind.; one stepson, Neil Dallas of New Lenox; one brother, Clyde Worley of Charleston; one sister, Faye Lipscomb of Charleston; two grandchildren and eight stepgrandchildren.
Mr. Worley was a retired petroleum distributor. He was a member of the Toledo Christian Church and the Odd Fellows Lodge at Greenup.
