Mrs Soren Hanson Is Buried Here Monday

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs Soren Hanson, who passed away at the Terry hospital Friday, following a ten-day illness from a heart attack following childbirth. The services were held at the Bethel Temple and were in charge of G Howard Johnson, pastor of the Church.
Marie Tesnes was born on June 20, 1896, in Roberts County, SD, the daughter of Mr and Mrs AL Tesnes, and died in Terry at the age of forty years and eleven months. With her parents, she moved to Rhame ND in 1910 and was united in marriage to Soren Hanson at Bowman ND, on June 29, 1919, coming to Terry on November, 1923, with her husband to make their home. To this union were born ten children, one son passing away at birth. Four daughters and five sons survive their mother. They are Alma, Arley, Melvin, Stanley, Mary, Doris, Wallace, Willard, and the baby daughter, Ruby May, all of who are in Terry with their father.
Three sisters, Mrs Clara Irons of Buffalo SD, Mrs Hanna Pederson of Spokane WA, and Mrs Alma Hanson of Rhame ND, and five brothers, Laurance, Theodore, and Adolf of Buffalo, Sigval of Spokane, and Rudolph Tesnes of Karineen SD, also survive as do her parents, Mr and Mrs AL Tsnes of Karineen.
Interment was made in the Terry cemetery with LE DeLapp, WT Reardon, Oliver Jones, A Raihl, Roy Bigelow, and RV Norris as pallbearers. Musical numbers wee sung during the services by the children's chorus of Bethel Temple.
Relatives sho came to Terry to attend the services included Mr and Mrs Irons of Buffalo, Mr and Mrs Rudolph Tesnes of Karineen, her three brothers from Buffalo, and mr and Mrs Harry Hanson of Rhame.
