L. J. ADAMS, 85 of Pasadena, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 23, 2010. He was born on December 18, 1924 in Burkburnett, Texas to Frank and Rosa Adams. He served on the Destroyer USS Wren. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Margie Adams, daughters, Sandra Toombs and husband Mark, and Vicki Hallinan, son Keith Adams, 2 brothers Edward Adams and wife Nancy, Earl Adams, sister Wanda Williams and husband James, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren numerous other relatives and a host of friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-8 PM at Pasadena Funeral Chapel on August 25, 2010 and a funeral service will be held 11 AM at Glenwood Baptist Church in Deer Park on Thursday August 26, 2010. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
