Born in Salisbury Township, she was the daughter of Robert & Sally (Kline) Laible and wife of H. Elwood Dollinger. They were married 65 years. She was a founder of what is now Lehigh-Carbon Community College, serving 19 years on the LCCC board of trustees. She chaired the community and sponsor relations committee and was instrumental in developing on-site child care and enrolling senior citizens. She also served on the operating committee of the Lehigh County Vocational-Technical School from its inception and on the coordinating committee for the school and LCCC. She chaired the school's education committee, was secretary for the committee selecting trustees for the college and a member of the finance and building committees. She was also a longtime member of the Salisbury Township School Board. She also worked as a floral designer and craft consultant at Rileigh's Inc. in Allentown. She passed away in her Salisbury Township home.
