A 24-year-old dental technician from Annandale, Virginia was killed near Roanoke Mountain when the Hang Glider she was flying crashed at an altitude of 30 feet. She was killed instantly.A graduate of East Tennesee University and the 1972 Class of W.T. Woodson High School, a funeral Mass was held at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Annandale and burial on May 30, 1978 at Fairfax Memorial Park.
