BERMUDA RUN - William "Bill" Schaffer, 68, of Bermuda Run, died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home after an extended illness, which he valiantly fought. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he will be missed dearly. He graduated from West Virginia University and was retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. He was a member of Holy Family Church in Clemmons. He is survived by his wife, Dee; his daughter Susan Drew and her husband, Bo; his daughter Laura Ross and her husband, Bowen; four beloved grandchildren, Ellison, Maggie, David and Caroline; and devoted sister Virginia Frank and her husband, George. A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, at Holy Family Church. Memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home or Holy Family Catholic Church Building Fund, 4820 Kinnamon Road, Clemmons, NC 27012.
