Dockie Abbott passed away June 13, being 56 years old, only lived 2 hours after he took sick.
He was the son of Doc and Amanda Abbott and the husband of Bonnie Kennedy Abbott.
He leaves his wife and five daughters, Mildred Monday, Indianapolis, Ind., Vela Steele, Richmond, Calif., Grace Pace, Utah, Kathleen Butler, Columbus, Ind., Vivian Abbott, Indianapolis, Ind., also one sister, Mrs. Mary Doss.
He left Monticello about fourteen years ago, and made his home most of the time in Indianapolis. His funeral was at the Moore & Kirk funeral home June 17 and was buried at the Southerland Cemetery.
