FAYETTEVILLE - Mary Lopina McHugh, 45, of 2377 Dunwoody Drive, Fayetteville, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, at Highsmith Rainey Hospital. Mrs. McHugh is survived by her husband, Michael, of the home; a son, Patrick McHugh; two daughters, Kathleen and Theresa McHugh, all of Fayetteville; father and mother, Thomas and Roma Lopina of Winston-Salem; a sister, Stephanie Lopina of North Canton, Ohio; six brothers, Thomas Lopina of Walkertown, Andrew Lopina, Joseph Lopina and Matthew Lopina, all of Winston-Salem, Bartholomew Lopina of Newton and Philip Lopina of Waxhaw. A mass will be celebrated at noon Friday, Jan. 26, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hope Mills, with Father Thanh Nguyen officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon at the church. Inurnment will be at Saint Leo's Catholic Church in Winston-Salem at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
